Fenty Beauty Past Its Prime?

Last week it was reported that parent company, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, was exploring a sale of their 50% share in Fenty Beauty [click here if you missed that].

Now industry insiders are whispering about the Fenty downfall...

From Puck News
...an LVMH insider told me that Fenty’s revenue peaked several years ago, and a person close to Sephora said that the brand’s sales in North America are “down double digits.” These days, anyway, Fenty’s business is negligible compared to LVMH’s real beauty priorities: Sephora (the most important retailer in the space) and Dior (one of the biggest beauty lines in the world). “Fenty’s not a core asset,” said a person with knowledge of LVMH’s business. “They decided not to buy the other half.” Sephora did not respond to a request for comment.

Fenty foundation used to be the bomb then they changed the formulas.

This is BS. I tell you who’s past their time. Maybe line, Este launder, Mac. They are trying to diminish the value of the brand before they buy it.

The one named foreign born permanent A list singer who doesn't sing any longer is about to get the rug pulled from under her by the corporate world. They have made their money and now are going to leave her out in the cold. I hope she was smart with her windfall because there isn't going to be any more money coming in.

I always thought it was a huge mistake...her not doing music which is the PLATFORM she built her empire on...

If she didn't see this day coming shame on her.

Why are they doing this to her? Sales may be down but are they consistent?

I agree 10:16. I need these so-called black blogs to stop perpetuating the narrative just to have something to talk about. Those other lingering brands don't market to us (or barely) and they are trying to diminish it to buy it for a low price. And their crap sucks so if Fenty does, then so does theirs. STOP helping them. They have been around for centuries and we help destroy our own brand with news like this. Disturbing I tell ya.

I’m here for Fenty. The foundation and blush is perfect for my dark skin with olive and red undertones. They get it.

Fenty may be a good product but Rihanna hasn't really been working it for years. She's been in the business of babymaking, not brand building. No new music to help promote Fenty. It's going downhill from a marketing perspective.

Got with ASAP and stopped focusing in her business, music, fashion and makeup, other than an occasional photo shoot. She should just retire and enjoy her family that what she really wants to do and been doing anyways 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think for the past couple of years RiRi just didn't want to be bothered with Jay Z and his antics etc...
I truly believe Ri was on the run from J and didn't want to do music anymore just to get robbed etc...
Thus the back to back kids...with a lipstick and skirt kinda of man, unbelievable I could imagine what the island real men has to say about that????
All this to say I think J is pushing her back into music and if not bye bye make up empire!
Jay needs money real bad...Bey is over the hill music wack awards paid for etc...just over the hill at this point.
RiRi can do tours now of her greatest hits and make Jz=LiveNation a whole lot of MONEY!

the make girls love the Fenty didnt know it fell off, I do know a lot of it is out of stock, which you cant buy which would cause low sales

People will still buy it as long as it remains a quality product. They have all of the skin tones on lock.

Welp, for one Rihanna hasn't had a "Blood Sacrifice" in years. For two, she can't just quit Hollyweird if she wants to because she's forever indebted to them...She sold her Soul too. For three, it looks like the Elites are trying to force her hand and get her back out there making more money. The only way they can force her hand is by undermining her most most lucrative income right now (Fenty). I guess they are done with waiting on her while she's playing house. She's a "Product" to them not a human being. Good luck to ya Riri!!!
