Love Jones co-stars Nia Long and Larenz Tate set to star in a new romantic drama on Amazon...
From Deadline
Nia Long and Larenz Tate, stars of New Line’s romantic drama Love Jones, who have more recently worked together on Lionsgate’s Michael Jackson biopic Michael, are set to reteam once again on an untitled romantic drama from Sylvie’s Love helmer Eugene Ashe that has been greenlighted at Netflix.
Inspired by Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite, the debut album from R&B artist Maxwell, the film’s logline is being kept under wraps. Ashe is directing from a script written with Kay Oyegun, a writer-producer best known for work on NBC’s This Is Us.
James Lopez, Charles D. King, and Poppy Hanks are producing for Macro Film Studios, with Maxwell, John D. Hammond, Long, and Tate serving as executive producers. Sources said the project was shopped to Netflix after being put into turnaround at Amazon.

We need a romantic movie, yes.
Wait is it with Amazon or with Netflix?

Spinning the block on love jones for the yn’s
Larenz not Lorenz
Tate is a good actor. He is unsung. He has not aged. My draws are moist LOLO
Theodore Witcher directed Love Jones in 1997 and hasn't directed another film in the next 28 years. How could this be? Hollywood does not want to see black people and black stories told like this.
