Former NFL player Antonio Brown is back in the United States to stand trial for a shooting that occurred in Miami nearly six months ago.
Police confirmed Brown, 37, was extradited from Dubai but have not said where he is currently being held.
He was taken into custody at Newark Airport in Essex County, New Jersey and is expected to be brought to South Florida, but authorities have not provided any specifics on what that will occur.
When the warrant for his arrest was issued back in June, police said Brown was believed to be overseas, but did not specify where.
After the warrant was issued, Brown hired an attorney who was able to secure a bond of $10,000 that included house arrest for, but Brown did not return to South Florida.
