A Texas woman is accusing rap star B.o.B., whose real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., of holding her hostage inside a Downtown San Diego hotel suite and sixually assaulting her.
In a lawsuit, obtained by CBS 8, the woman, who CBS 8 will refer to as "Jane" due to being an alleged victim of sixual assault, says she attended a B.o.B. concert in April 2025 at the California Beer Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Without any notification, Mr. Simmons picked Jane up on stage to dance and twerk to “Whistle While You Twerk” by the Ying Yang Twins.
After dancing, the lawsuit states that Mr. Simmons' manager approached Jane and asked if she wanted to attend an after-party at Mr. Simmons' downtown hotel suite.
"[Jane] viewed the unexpected invitation as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hang out with one of the biggest stars in Hip Hop, whose music played a major role in keeping her emotionally healthy to continue her arduous struggle against cancer," states the lawsuit. "[She]couldn’t believe how her life had turned around since the cancer-free diagnosis. Moreover, she figured everything would be okay with her cousin by her side; after all, Mr. Simmons’ wife would be there also."
Jane and her cousin arrived at the Westin Hotel in the Gaslamp District around 3 a.m. and met with Mr. Simmons' manager in the lobby. The manager then escorted them upstairs to the penthouse suite.
According to the lawsuit, Jane was offered drugs but refused. Everything was fine at the party until her cousin left to get a jacket from the car.
After her cousin left, Jane says Mr. Simmons was alone with her in the room. According to the lawsuit, he began to grope Jane and tried to spread her legs open.
Mr. Simmons then allegedly grabbed her by the neck and started to kiss her.
Mr. Simmons, according to the lawsuit, began to use more force, still grasping her neck with one hand while rubbing her body with the other.
The lawsuit alleges that Mr. Simmons' manager and entourage were aware of his "deviant intentions to gain sexual favors" but failed to ensure her safety.Read the rest of the complaint here

*Jane and her cousin arrived at the Westin Hotel around 3 a.m. (only thing opened at 3 am is legs)
*Jane was offered drugs but refused. (1st red flag lo leave)
*her cousin left to get a jacket from the car. (but why? and the cousin walked downtown streets ALONE to get her jacket?????)
*After her cousin left, Jane says Mr. Simmons was alone with her in the room (where were all the party people and the wife?)
*Mr. Simmons' wife came into the room during the assault, and Mr. Simmons yelled at her to leave. (oh, enters and exits the wife)
*Mr. Simmons got up and walked to the doorway to ensure his wife had left the room and would no longer bother him or interrupt what he was planning to do," reads the lawsuit. "He quickly returned to his kneeling position before a seated [Jane], where he resumed rubbing her inner thighs and waist with the intent to sexually assault her."
*The assault continued, with Mr. Simmons groping Jane's genitals and refusing to stop until his manager knocked on the door. The interruption, according to the lawsuit, allowed Jane to escape Mr. Simmons's clutches and leave the room.

Chyle women we have got to understand no matter what a man says, no matter how they polite and kind he acts that man is trying to have sex. The end! If he is inviting you to a hotel room, his house, his car, his tour bus the bathroom your room. He is trying to have sex if he’s taking you out to eat to the movies dinner if he asked for your number it’s sex that he wants don’t place yourself in a position to be vulnerable Because they will try to take what they want.
