I’m sorry this is not how you make macaroni and cheese. Big mama never put no sauce in the macaroni. Macaroni noodles, Colby cheese, eggs, milk, butter, and salt. Someone please give this recipe to this girl.ASAP.
^^^some folks make a cheese roux. I don’t really care as long as it’s good. However, roux or not, I do agree to a degree that all baked Mac n cheese needs an egg.
Meg is a southern girl thru and thru. I never had crumbled meat in my baked beans until I moved south.
