Monique Wants a Public Conversation with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey

For over a decade comedian Mo'Nique has been blaming Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey for blacklisting her in Hollywood after she refused to promote her Academy Award winning turn in the movie "Precious," for award season without additional pay [click here if you missed that].

Mo'Nique is still holding out hope for a sit-down...

Mo'Nique tells podcast 85 South,
"I'm still waiting for Tyler Perry. Still waiting for Oprah Winfrey to say, "Let's have this open public conversation. Don't run. Don't run, because that may be able to heal our community."

Even though I am no fan of Oprah
Or Tyler
Why would both of these billionaires sit down
With Monuque publicly and rehash this old stale news?
Smh.

Part of the job that goes with being cast in a movie includes promoting that movie. Mo decided to sit that responsibility out and she's paying for it. Don't blame it all on Tyler and Oprah.

Mo always want something. Face it. Carter went left when she went right. Back in the day she was funny though. Sometimes 15 minutes go like this.

I’m tired of Mo.

Most people forget she won an Academy Award in 2009. If she hadn't screwed over her producers she would be working as an actress since then. Nobody's fault but her own.

Ain’t nobody gon’ talk to Mo. She’s a bully. Now she’s using a soft hand, but it’s still bullying.

I like her. She’s talented, funny and she’s right when she says they blackballed her, but lost that battle and she knows how to get on your last nerve. She just ain't worth the trouble that she brings.

Don’t nobody gotta sit down with Mo. who is she? The godmother? Uh. That’s Oprah. Bye Mo.

As if black folks are not scrutinized enough, this conversation need to be had in private, and solved in private. But it seems like they have moved on, so Monique should do the same.

What else does she have to talk about. Holding on to this will not help her heal. Moving on as this is one of life's lessons will. LOLO

My god girl! Give it a rest already!

Face it lady, you messed up your career by being a pain and allowing your know-nothing husband to speak on your behalf and make things worse. You followed advice from a Baltimore street dude who had no experience as an entertainment industry talent representative and now you're mad at the world. Admit you were d!ckmatized and played and stay performing at comedy clubs because nobody wants to produce anything with you anymore. Even after this issue with O & T, she was out here being a problem on every other set and letting her DADDY make further burn bridges.

Please stop posting anything about this ridiculous beef. They ain’t NEVER gonna apologize to her, especially in public until they have a financial motive to do so and frankly this tea is cold
