Kimmie’s journey is coming to an end on Beauty in Black as Netflix has renewed the Tyler Perry series for a third and final season.
The streamer also announced that the eigh episodes from Season 2, Part 2 of the series, starring Taylor Polidore Williams, will premiere on March 19, 2026.
Premiering in 2024, the drama series spent seven weeks ranked in the Top 10 and, by its second week, was at the top of the list in 28 countries, according to Netflix. Part 1 of Season 1 also topped the most-watched list in 14 countries during its second week.
Beauty in Black was created, directed, written, and executive produced by Perry. The series follows two women leading very different lives. While Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) struggles to make a living after her mother kicked her out, Mallory (Crystle Stewart) runs a successful business. They are entangled in each other’s lives.
