Smokey Robinson Accusers Ordered to Turn Over Their Phones


Motown singer Smokey Robinson is counter suing four former employees who accused him of sixual misconduct [click here if you missed that].

Smokey Robinson is really trying to stay ahead of the situation!
The producer has secured an order for his latest accusers to tender their devices in court to prevent them from deleting essential data that could help his case.
Smokey Robinson is currently involved in an ongoing civil lawsuit where he is the defendant against several former employees who have accused him of sexual assault, among other crimes.
On Friday, the judge pronounced that four of his accusers be asked to provide their cell phones for imaging. According to facts contained in the court documents, Robinson asked that his unidentified accusers turn in their phones to mitigate the risk they might cause by continually deleting data.
Reacting to the latest judgment, Robinson's lawyer declared, "We know the types of communications these plaintiffs had with our clients before deciding to sue them, so we are pleased to finally be able to access information that will help the court, a jury, and the public know the truth."
