Venus Williams and Andrea Preti tied the knot in a romantic wedding in Palm Beach.
The tennis star, 45, and the actor, 37, exchanged vows on Saturday, December 20, after a five-day celebration with their friends and family members.
"It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day,” Williams told Vogue in a story published on Tuesday, December 23, which shared photos from the lavish week.
The ceremony came the day after the couple had a courthouse wedding, for which Williams and Preti arrived at 6:45 a.m. so they could have the space to themselves.
"I can’t describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting it was,” Williams said. “It was just a dream.”
Williams revealed the couple actually had an unofficial wedding in Italy in September before the big shindig in Florida.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams explained. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork —because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
Williams had a bridal party at the couple’s Florida home on Tuesday, December 16.
