Chris Redd Comes Clean About Falling in Love with Kenan Thompson's Wife
Four years ago comedian Chris Redd was sucker punched by a stranger on the street, just one month after it was revealed that he was dating his Saturday Night Live cast mate, Kenan Thompson's wife [click here if you missed that].
Chris now admits the two incidents were related and explains how and why he ended up falling in love with Kenan's ex-wife...
My homie is really close to Kenan. Kenan really looked put for this dude and took him under his wing. I've done my dirt, but don't pretend to be someone's friend while smashing their partner. I will never support anything this clown does.
This was heartfelt and well done. I dont agree with his actions. At the end of the day 2 grown people made a decision to move forward together despite the optics.
His words felt authentic so I'm not gonna clown him. And he been doing shows since the incident so what's so special for him to promote now?
Anyways, I don't condone his actions but at least he was man enough to own up to them. And the ex-wife decided to pursue a friendship with him as well so all the blame doesn't fall on him. Two grown people made a poor decision that affected someone else. Such is life. Live, learn and try to limit stupid moves.

At least he clarifies he wasn’t a homewrecker since it was already over when he entered the pic. Still not a friend tho, to make her worth his shot.
