John Legend to Testify in L.A. Reid Case

Three years ago former record exec, Drew Dixon, filed a civil lawsuit against former Arista Records CEO, L.A. Reid, accusing him of damaging her career after rebuffing his advances [click here if you missed that].

The trial is set to kick off next week and John Legend is expected to testify...

From Page Six
Music mogul L.A. Reid will go on trial next week, accused of sixually assaulting top record executive Drew Dixon when they worked at Arista in 2001. We’re told John Legend will appear as a witness.
Dixon — who has been one of the most relentless campaigners for justice for the victims of powerful men in the music business — claims that Reid assaulted her twice while she was vice president of A&R at the storied label, where he was the president.
She claims that after she rejected his advances, he throttled her career and that it never fully recovered. She had worked with stars including Whitney Houston and Santana, and claims that the “American Idol” judge blocked the signing of Legend as part of his retaliation against her. (Reid has denied the claims).

Lets see if Legend will tell the truth under oath. He comes off as a coward to me. LOLO

20 + years later? Good luck with that

John Legend is definitely a self serving punk in a lavender marriage. He is going to testify under oath whatever will not cause harm to his career. It is highly unlikely that he will disclose the truth.

The 90's and early 00's were a great time in the hip-hop, rap, r n b culture but it was ran by abusive men who are now being held accountable.
