Even the Kennedy family gives their housekeepers a pension to live on. Why doesn't Beyonce offer her long time employee's a pension like other jobs and a severance package? After 20 plus years he proved himself to be more than an employee, he should've been like family. She could've easily set up a pension retirement fund or just cut a check because his job was so labor intensive that he's crippled now. I didn't know she was like that. He would've done better as a union set builder in Hollywood where they they limit work hours for safety reasons. She needs to make that right or he needs to sue.
I listened to her whole story and it is really tragic. It burns me when people flaunt billionaire status yet don't display true charity.
Sorry for Th unfortunate health issues that occur with your dad, but honestly why are you calling out Beyonce like it’s her fault or she’s responsible for his ongoing Financial situation that has occurred when he was in fact a contractor not Beyonce employee. Personally he should have look out for a time as such and didn’t he contract out to other celebrities too not just Beyonce and either way no one is responsible for the financial status of a self contractor but themselves. You going on twitter/tick tot trying to defame Beyonce because your dad chose to contract himself to Beyonce for 20 years and he himself didn’t prepare for future financial stability isn’t the fault of Beyonce nor any other contractors he contracted out to epically Beyonce don’t owe him one red cent. And severance pay is given/offer to employees (not) contractors workers. Contract worker are their choice. Have you asked him have he apply for SSA. And disability insurance from whatever insurance he had purchased. Not being funny, but after 20 years of employment with high profile folks, why didn't he pay that mortgage off a long time ago?! Investments? This isn't "his" fault, but I'm genuinely confused why he didn't plan for things a lot better. Sounds like he had it at some point.
She should have treated him like a valued employee. At the least, she should have paid him 1 week’s salary for each year he worked, health benefits for a year, unemployment for a year, job assistance if he wants it. That’s the minimum I’d give him based on my worth and his value over the years.
We can get past the fact he may have made bad decisions. So do a lot of homeless people. But we can still be gracious and help them out. Sorry, but when you work for the same employer for 20 years, it's more than a business relationship. He put LOTS of $$ in her pocket.

This is sad but I’m confused. You’re asking for charity bc she clearly doesn’t owe him anything. “Other celebrities” but let’s focus on Beyoncé’s philanthropy, not all these other celebs. And if he was fired and not accommodated, why not sue or claim workers comp?
And sorry to tell you, my dad was employed (not as a contractor) by and for the same company for 30 years, and guess what… the money he earned and saved, for various reasons, didn’t last. Which became the phase of life when we become the caregivers for our parents. Sounds like this is where they are and maybe his kids are of a generation that can’t provide like we’ve had to.

Some people are good to employees who have been good to them. Taylor Swift is one that is known for cutting big checks for her crew at least one time that I know about. I don't remember for how much but it was substantial. I don't know if they were contract employees or worked directly for her. They were on the team and got paid. That's just one example and surely there are more. Everything isn't made public.
