A Kentucky drug task force seized a felony amount of marijuana, guns and other substances from a smoke shop Monday.
The Warren County Drug Task Force reportedly carried out a search warrant Feb. 23 at Vito’s Dispensary on River Place Avenue following “numerous” complaints from law enforcement and other sources.
According to officials, a few weeks prior, a task force detective visited the store and conducted a “controlled purchase” of hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Shortly after noon Monday, task force detectives and several other officials returned to the business, where they reported seeing Schedule I drugs. Officers recovered approximately 20 pounds of marijuana, approximately 2.2 pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms, three handguns, and numerous THC products, including desserts, gummies, pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, and resin.
Vito Jermaine Tisdale, 50, also known as “Big V”, a former member of the hip-hop group Nappy Roots, was charged with trafficking in marijuana (over 5 pounds) and first degree controlled substance trafficking (over 10 dose units of hallucinogenic mushrooms). Both charges had added firearm enhancements. He was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail on a $6,000 bond, but has since been released.

I'm confused, he has a dispensary right? This sounds petty and possibly racially motivated.
