No One From the BAFTAs Spoke to Delroy Lindo After the N-Word Controversy

At the BAFTA Awards on Sunday Tourette syndrome sufferer, John Davidson, shouted the n-word while Sinners stars Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan were presenting the first award of the evening [click here if you missed that].

Lindo claims nobody from the BAFTAs approached him or Michael to apologize after the incident...

From Vanity Fair
At the Warner Bros. after-party following the ceremony, Lindo told Vanity Fair that he and Jordan “did what we had to do” while presenting—but that he also wished “someone from BAFTA spoke to us afterward.”
Though the BAFTAs aired on a tape delay, the slur was nevertheless included in the broadcast.
A BBC spokesperson told The Times, “Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards. This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome, and as explained during the ceremony it was not intentional. We apologize that this was not edited out prior to broadcast and it will now be removed.”

Of course BAFTA had nothing to say to Delroy, but flip the script and let a brotha with Tourette's shout out “Hunky" or “Kracker" and we’d never be forgiven or forgotten. Never.

@8:59 Who named you designated director of the earring police? If Delroy wanted to wear something dangling to his shoulder that's his business. As for BAFTA, Britain is never direct or apologetic about racism.

Well did anybody from the Oscars say anything to Chris rock after the slap? This is awful and wrong but these award shows clearly don’t know what to do with anything off script
