Stefon Diggs Sued for Defamation of Character

Stefon Diggs sued for defamation of character by his former personal assistant...

From The NY Post
Just before Super Bowl 2026 gets underway, Patriots star wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been named in another lawsuit.
Someone who claims he used to work for Diggs is suing the wideout for a slew of alleged offenses all stemming from the New England player’s stolen Ferrari two years ago, according to court records viewed by The Post.
The lawsuit — which was filed on Tuesday in Miami-Dade County (Florida) — is going after Diggs for alleged defamation, civil conspiracy, vicarious liability and ratification, and aiding and abetting assault and battery.
Both of Diggs’ brothers — Packers cornerback Trevon Diggs and former college DB Darez Marsean Diggs — are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
In the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in July 2024, Stefon wanted him to arrange for his Ferrari to be moved from Miami to New York and then to Houston, but claims that the vehicle was stolen in the Texas city.
The plaintiff also says law enforcement determined the Ferrari was stolen by a third party, but alleges that Stefon started to tell people close to the two parties that the plaintiff stole the car.
According to the lawsuit, the situation between Stefon and the man escalated in the following months, with there being multiple altercations involving people close to the four-time Pro Bowler.
The plaintiff alleges that in January 2025, Stefon texted him that he was “responsible and accountable for all actions of those around me.”
The man also claimed that people in Stefon’s circle approached him at restaurants in Houston and Miami, along with showing up at his house, requesting that he return gifts given to him by the receiver.
Things allegedly hit a breaking point in December with a scuffle at a club in Miami, where, according to court documents, two people in Stefon’s circle allegedly assaulted the plaintiff — with Trevon allegedly witnessing the altercation.
Court records state that the man “sustained serious and permanent physical injuries,” including a torn ACL, a partially torn MCL and damage to his face.
The man is requesting the lawsuit to be tried as a libel/slander case and estimated the amount of the claim to be over $100,000.
