On Feb. 23, the My Wife and Kids actress announced that she will publish a new memoir, The A Word: A Mother’s Journey Through Autism and Love, this fall through HarperCollins imprint Amistad.
The book, per its official synopsis, explores “the triumphs and challenges” Campbell has experienced while raising her son, Xen, who was diagnosed with autism at 18 months.
In The A Word, Campbell recounts first learning about Xen’s diagnosis, along with their journey navigating daily realities, like therapy and facing “social misconceptions." The book also celebrates Xen’s “extraordinary individuality,” resulting in a story about motherhood and love, written with Campbell’s signature humor and heart.

The Thots she know that he has no money so leave him alone. LOLO
I love Tisha. Despite her own health challenges she appears to be a dedicated mother and a consummate professional.
I'm here for it!! My nephew kind of reminds me of her son and I would like to see how she help him navigate the dating world being autistic.
I have a gorgeous son whose made it to 18 while autistic. We're scared to death about what kind of woman will snatch him up.
Why can't the father help him get laid? The son seems very awkward and strange. If he's a virgin, any woman who comes in contact with him on this show better be strapped
I hope she stops cutting that late 90tys look of cutting one side of her head off. She is too mature for that style.
Who designed the cover because it is jacked up? From the placement of the hands on shoulder, to the size of the heads, to the typesetting... it is one dam mess. It should be used as an example on what not do to. Lawd.
