Remembering the Tignon Law, enacted by Louisiana Governor Esteban MirĂ³ in 1786 , that forced free women of color to cover their hair with a tignon (headwrap) to distinguish them from white women and suppress their rising social status and beauty...

What he did was help Black women show their face which showed their true beauty. FACE . Yt's think that hair makes them appealing. Law back fired. LOLO

Christianity was also forced on black people. Look how that turned out. Everything the white people forced and threw at black people was turned to what is now referred to as terms of endearment, delicacies, urban fashion,. etc.
I don't wear headwraps/bonnets(my grandmother and mother didn't play that mess), but this makes so much sense. My people are still brainwashed tho. The ghetto girls wearing bonnets look stupid and lazy.
