The rapper behind hit songs “Panda” and “Timmy Turner” was arrested in Horry County, South Carolina earlier this week, according to police records.
Sidney Royel Selby III, better known by his stage name Desiigner, was charged with third-degree domestic violence. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday and released Tuesday on a $1,500 bond.
Officers responded on March 2 to a residence on Arbor Ridge Circle in the Conway area for a domestic disturbance. An arrest warrant states that Selby allegedly ripped the car keys out of his child’s mother’s sweatpants and threw her to the floor during an altercation.
The incident caused minor scratches and bleeding to the woman’s arm and lower back, according to the warrant.
