It was industry rumor that once Kris found out about the tape, she decided to monetized it with Joe Francis to jump start Kim's career as an influencer. This happened when celebrity nudes and tapes were being "accidentally released" to garner interest. It worked so well for Kim that others tried it for well over a decade. In this climate, Kim is trying to be a lawyer and everybody is being charged for sins of the past so this will be interesting to see play out.
