The Patriots are releasing their top receiver, announcing Wednesday they’re done with Stefon Diggs, cutting ties with him next week at the start of the new league year.
The veteran pass catcher signed a 3-year, $63.5M contract with New England last off-season. He was due a $6 million bonus if he was still on the roster on March 13.
After appearing in just eight games two seasons ago with the Houston Texans due to injury, Diggs bounced back from the torn ACL with the Patriots and finished the regular season with 85 receptions, 1,013 yards, and four touchdowns.
Diggs was the first Patriots receiver to reach 1000 yards since three-time Super Bowl champion receiver Julian Edelman did so in 2019, and earned himself a Comeback Player of the Year nomination last year with the Patriots.
He's a bum. 50-11 kids under 2.
ReplyDeleteIt was the assault charge that did him in. The Patriots aren't playing any games with these players after that Aaron Hernandez debacle. He'll get picked up by somebody though.

Every time an entertainers personal life overshadows their professional life, they go down. All of the allegations on both sides are a distraction to the team. Instant liability. GOTTA GO!

The rumors and other players BEEN talking about him as being non-disciplined and a ho.✅️ There is a whole video if you Google it where players were asked if their sister was dating an athlete who would they NOT want it to be. All the guys said Steffon. All of them.
ReplyDeleteHe partied himself right out of a job. He only became more high profile because of Cardi but he was always dim. Now he is at 8 kids instead of 5, had two more after Cardi, she is baby mama number 6, so 8 kids, not married, and no job.
Remember when Kim K took over Reggie Bushs life and interviews. He chopped that attention seeking h0e.
