Morgan Freeman Is Being Sued

by the passenger who was riding in the car with him when he had that bad car accident last August. At the time Demaris Meyer was being referred to as Morgan's mistress. Even her own family sold her out telling the National Enquirer that Demaris missed one of her parent's funeral [can't remember if it was her mom's or her dad's] to stay by Morgan's side. And then, to add fuel to the adulterous fire, 4 days after the accident Morgan sped up divorce procedings from his wife of 24 years. Anyway, now Miss Thing claims to have been "only friends" with Morgan even though she admitted she'd been planning to sleep over with him the night of the accident, in a 'friends only' kind of way of course. But now she's suing him because she says she saw Morgan drinking before their ill fated car ride.

Morgan Freeman Announces Divorce

Four days after the car crash that landed him in the a Mississippi ICU, Morgan Freeman's attorney released this statement,

"Freeman and his wife of 24-years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, are involved in a divorce action. And for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007."

OK so check it, the reason there wasn't a lot of info on Myrna's former friend, Demaris Meyer who was riding with Morgan the night of the accident, is because when Demaris was admitted to the hospital she gave a fake name. She also told a few other lies that night. She told officers at the scene of the accident that Morgan was driving her car because she didn't know the way to his house. Her own friends house. She also said they were coming from one of Morgan's businesses in Clarksdale, but Morgan's employee's later said the couple had not been there. Sounds like Morgan had his attorney announce the divorce proceedings because he is tired of having to lie about his relationship 'ol Demaris.

According to witnesses, the car Morgan Freeman was driving in Ruleville, Mississippi at 11:30pm Sunday, careened off the road and flipped end over end several times before landing on its wheels in a ditch. Morgan suffered a broken arm, shattered elbow and minor damage to his shoulder. As of yesterday he had undergone surgery to correct the damage, and although still listed in 'serious condition' was said to be in good spirits. No word on his passenger, Demaris Meyer, who is said to be a friend of Morgan's wife Myrna.

Morgan Freeman Crash Passenger Revealed

This is the chick who was riding with Morgan Freeman yesterday when he drove into a ditch and flipped his car over. Actually it was the chicken's car. Her name is Demaris Meyer and she's a "close friend" of Morgan's wife Myrna. Incidentally, the National Enquirer ran a story in July about Myrna seeking a divorce from Morgan claiming, "Myrna was terribly upset when she heard Morgan had become intimate with a woman who had been her friend."

Morgan Freeman In Serious Accident

Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident Sunday night in north Mississippi.

Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Ben Williams said Freeman and a female passenger were traveling eastbound on Mississippi Highway 32 in Tallahatchie County when his vehicle went off the edge of the road. Freeman overcorrected, flipping his 1997 Nissan Maxima several times before coming to a rest.

Emergency crews extracted Freeman and his passenger from their vehicle using the jaws of life. According to Williams, they were both airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, where Freeman was listed in serious condition Monday morning.

The condition of Freeman's passenger has not been released.
