Credit Card Scams Coming Back To Bite Paul Pierce?

Remember back in December '06 when Boston Celtic Paul Pierce got caught up after a groupie by the name Vaso charged $95,000 on his American Express card and he claimed he didn't know her, but his credit card receipts showed he'd purchased airline tickets for her in the past, proving he was lying? Back then I heard some chatter that he was totally in on it and that charges had been pressed against him but kept quiet. Anyway, today's Page Six wondered why Paul refused to put down a credit card to reserve a table at Meatpacking District club Tenjune last Thursday night. Club sources told Page Six that Pierce also refused to sign a contract for the table and insisted on paying $2,000 cash instead. They say Paul was over heard yelling at the club manager, "Do you know who I am, and how much money I make?" Didn't matter. Without plastic they wouldn't let Paul in so he had to find somewhere else to party.

Claiming she was Boston Celtic Paul Pierce's girlfriend,

professional groupie Vaso Shinas charged $95,000.00 on

Paul's American Express Card. Paul filed a police report

disputing the charges, denying Vaso was his girl

claiming he'd only met her once.

Investigators found that in fact, Paul not only knew

this girl, he'd purchased round trip airline tickets,

limos and courtside seats for her before.

They found pictures of Paul and this girl wearing two

different outfits.

They even found pictures of her

and LA Clipper Shaun Livingston.

But that ain't all. According to the message board,

the girl is a real 304. Here's the post, verbatim.

A lot of athletes have gotten caught by Vaso's scams. Paul's just the first to sue for it. She's stolen from Reggie Bush, Al Harrington, and Tracy McGrady among others. She tried to get close to Allen Iverson but he's too smart for that. Everyone in LA knows all about her schemes and she has a lot of people working with her. She's too dumb to figure out the credit card stuff on her own so one of her two pimps probably helped her with that. I know at one point she was bragging about stealing Paul's jewelry. The stuff must have been fake because she had nothing to show for it. But she was talking about how she gave the money she got from athletes to her pimps. For a while she had pictures all over her Myspace of herself sitting courtside with one of her pimps.
