No More Tyra Show

"This will be the last season of 'The Tyra Show,'" Tyra told People.com. "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years. My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are." In the future Tyra plans to focus fully on her film production company Bankable Studios.  The final episode of the talk show will air in the spring of 2010.

Did Elite Put Keyshia on Blast?

On Christmas Day several of Keyshia Cole's fans Tweeted her sister Elite asking what Keyshia bought her and Neffe's kids for Christmas. Elite answered honestly, plus had a few other choice things to say and  promptly took heat from Keyshia's fans who called her an ungrateful little bitch. Elite deleted most of the offending Tweets, but not all of them.

Tyler Perry Taking Madea on The Road

Tyler Perry is taking Madea back on the road for the for the first time in five years. In his latest newsletter Tyler explaines that he'd taken the last few months off to spend with his dying mother. And now, he says, he needs to work through his grief.  Tyler's new play, Madea's Big Happy Family kicks off January 4th in El Paso, Texas.

Gilbert Arenas in Gun Trouble

The NBA is investigating Washington Wizard Gilbert Arenas for keeping unloaded guns in his locker. The NBA's collective bargaining agreement allows for players to legally possess firearms but prohibits them at league facilities or when traveling on any league-related business. Gilbert says he brought the guns to work after the birth of his daughter because he "need them" anymore. "It happened like Dec. 10. Right after my daughter was born," Arenas said. "I decided I didn't want the guns in my house and around the kids anymore, so I took them to my lockbox at Verizon Center. Then like a week later, I turned them over to team security and told them to hand them over to the police, because I don't want them anymore. I wouldn't have brought them to D.C. had I known the rules. After my daughter was born, I was just like, I don't need these anymore."

Umm. Ok.

Does anybody but me think those guns had something to do with the alleged affair between Gilbert's finance and Shaquille O'Neal? Like he either brought the guns to shoot Shaq or he had to remove them from his house to keep from shooting his fiance?

Since Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats made it cool to come clean about who you date before your divorce is final, the-not-yet-divorced Dwyane Wade and  his lady love Gabrielle Union decided to take a "coming out" stroll on Miami Beach over the Christmas Holiday.

You Know You Play Too Much

when you Tweet that you're going to jail and nobody believes you. Grand Hustle comedian and prolific Tweeter Lil Duval does nothing but tell jokes on his Twitter all day. So on Christmas Eve when Duval tweeted about getting pulled over and going to jail for warrants, none of his Twitter followers believed him even though he Twit Pic'd pictures all the way. Not until he didn't show up to host Jingle Bash 2009 in Atlanta did anybody believe he wasn't crying wolf.  And yes. That's his real mugshot.
