is involved in a muti-billion dollar historical resort development project in Nigeria that will feature a memorial and museum about slavery, which would include a theme park with a slave ship replica, along with casinos, shops, a golf course and condominiums. Visitors will be able to visit a replica slave ship and walk the route their shackled ancestors walked before playing a round of golf or relaxing by a pool. The investment group behind the plan, called The Motherland Group, has said it hopes that the resort will help attract African-American tourists keen to trace their roots back to Nigeria. The resort will also house memorabilia from the glory years of the Jackson Five.

Jason referred to the DUI as “one stupid mistake I made.” After his latest arrest Jason says, “I just want to apologize to everybody — my teammates, my family, especially my fiancee. It’s a tough time for me. I’ve been questioned as a basketball player, questioned as a person, but my fatherhood in question is tough, because I try to be the best father I can be, and try to keep my kids out of harm’s way.”

Suge Got His Ass Beat...Again

For the second time in 9 months, Suge Knight got his face punched in -- and the alleged ass-beater claims to be Akon's business manager. It all went down in a private party at the W Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ -- where Suge was attending a private party for NBA All-Star weekend. Cops say they were called to the scene by hotel security who warned about a brewing fight between two groups in the VIP area. According to the Scottsdale PD website, when cops arrived, they saw a man punch the victim -- aka Suge -- two times in the head." Officers had to break out the tasers to "quell the fight. "The suspect, Robert Carnes Jr., was charged with one count of felony aggravated assault -- they ruled it a felony "due to the severity of the victim's injuries." Another man was also arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.According to the Scottsdale PD, "Carnes reported to officers that he is employed as the business manager for singer 'Akon.'"Suge was transported to a local hospital and treated for facial injuries.

Those posts or writing under my name are frauds." Over the weekend Chris' dad also released a statement: "He's reflecting on this situation. He's very remorseful. He's very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay. This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation. Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip. If you are on his side, you are on his side," he says. "Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously." "As a father, I couldn't be more proud … He's the light of my life. I think he's [going to] grow as an individual," he says. "He's going to take from this situation and learn from it." Rhianna father had something to say too: "There is some bruising. [But] she will be alright. I think so. At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."

Jayson Williams' Wife Wants A Divorce

She stood by him during his murder trial, but now she wants out. In 2002 former NBA player Jayson Williams was accused of killing his limo driver. While Jay was acquitted of the most serious charge against him the jury deadlocked on a charge of reckless manslaughter and he currently faces a retrial on that charge. He also faces trial on four charges related to his alleged attempts to cover up the circumstances of the driver's death. During the trial Jay's wife, Tanya Young Williams, was by his side every day but now she wants to leave his ass claiming "cruel and inhumane treatment". Tonya claims her and Jay don't have sex anymore, yet she found cocaine, condoms and Cialis in his underware drawer. Tanya also says Jay taunts her claiming he goes down on white girls and once lied to her about having stomach cancer and that he faked a suicide attempt. She is seeking a portion of Jayson's assets, their New York home, sole custody of their two kids and spousal support.
