Yeah so, more of Kelis' financials have been made public from her petition for divorce from Nas and now we know the reason why she needs $80,000 a month from her estranged husband. It's because she only made $21,616.00 a month between November of '08 and April '09 and hasn't toured in over a year, which is how she earns her income. That's nothing compared to what she spends. Kelis says she needs the cash because spends more than $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts and travel alone, plus $14,861.00 a month on mortgage, and she needs a nanny and money to store stem cells from the baby's umbilical cord to treat any unforeseen illnesses. Add to that, insurance, utility bills, landscaping, dry cleaning and all that other regular stuff and before you know it, you've spent 80 Gs. So the question is, should Kelis' lifestyle have to change because she no longer wants to be married to the person who afforded her that quality of life?
Chris Brown's efforts to have his trial delayed have been struck down by the California Supreme Court. He and Rihanna will face off in court on Monday. Actually, I think there's only a hearing on Monday and I'm not really sure if Chris and Rihanna are going to be there or not, but you know, this is just gossip, so we're required to have a couple of the facts twisted. Just know that Chris' trial is moving forward as scheduled.
Through his divorce attorneys Usher has demanded Tameka relinquish, “any and all diaries or personal notes kept during the course of the marriage, tax files, paycheck stubs, bank account information and other financial records, insurance policies, real-estate rental agreements, medical records and automobile registrations. He is also seeking copies of, “notes, cards, letters, photographs, film, documents, tapes, voice recordings, gifts, jewelry, clothes or other evidence that reflects on Usher’s conduct during their marriage, as well as detective reports, photos or recordings that have resulted from either “surveillance or investigation” of him.
Music executive Kedar Massenburg got into a shoving match with an aggressive fan trying to get close to Kedar's artist Joe. The fan, a New York city police officer, used his badge gain access backstage and became enraged when he wasn't allowed to enter Joe's dressing room. Kedar, upon realizing the rabid fan was a cop, snatched his badge and fled the scene. The officer, Sean Bradforth, tells a different story claiming Kedar attacked him after he asked if Kedar could get Joe's autograph.
