More Excerpts From Faith's Book

I don’t know what got into my head. But I decided that I needed to know once and for all what Big was really trying to do. On that night before Christmas, I drove to Big’s house on a mission to find out where I really stood.

The security guard at the gate just waved me in when I pulled up. It was Christmas Eve and she’d seen me come into the complex with the kids, so I guess she didn’t think anything of it. I parked in the rear of Big’s town house and walked up to the garage. It was locked. I hadn’t been over to Big’s house a whole lot but I did know that you jiggle the garage door a certain way and unlock it.

I got into the garage, where there was an elevator that would take me to both floors of Big’s duplex. There I was, rocking a black skully cap and a heavy goose-down jacket, tiptoeing into the elevator and pressing the button to go up to the second floor, where his bedroom was located. I got to Big’s bedroom door, turned the knob, and went inside. As soon as I saw a small lump next to Big’s large frame, I flew into a rage, ran over to the side of the bed, and pulled back the covers. I grabbed some chick our of the bed and started beating her ass. At some point, the chick’s wig came off in my hand; It was a short, cropped wig. I stopped throwing punches for a minute to get a good look at the chick I was beating up. It was Lil Kim. She was completely butt-naked, yelling as I pushed her around the room. “So you not fucking her, right?” I screamed at Big. “Yeah, you not messing with her anymore, right?”

When they heard all the commotion, Cease, D-Roc, and Gutter came running into the room. ‘Oh shit!” they yelled in unison. “It’s Faye! How the hell she get in here?”

Big sat up in bed and pointed at Kim, who was standing in a corner of the room, trying to cover her naked body with her hands while I was still yelling at Big. “Yo, get her outta here,’ Big said. They led Kim out of the room and she screamed and cursed the whole way.

It was absolutely crazy in that house. Kim was naked and being led somewhere to get dressed. I was still screaming on Big. Damion, Cease, and Gutter were laughing in amazement that I would be so bold. And Big looked like he was just too through with all of us. He sat up in bed shaking his head. Kim left the house and I stayed, talking to Big about why he couldn’t be honest with me about her.

‘I thought it was all about Tiffany?” I asked. You still messing with Kim, too?” Big had nothing to say. I have to say I actually felt some pity for Kim. Big had a wife, and she settled for messing with him. Then he started dating Tiffany and Big had a wife and a mistress. And Kim still settled for being other other woman. It seemed pretty sad to settle for that.

When I left a few hours later to get the kids, I noticed that Kim had taken my key to my Land Cruiser and scratched up my entire car, from the hood to the back bumper. Even though we ended up having sex that day, at that point I decided I was 100 percent through. I was not going to be a ride or die chick, always going to lengths to show Big how I felt. I was the mother of his child and his wife. But I was going to have to let go.

And So It Begins

Soul legend ISAAC HAYES' family is set to launch legal action to retrieve the rights to his hit songs. The singer's back catalogue, which includes classics such as Do Your Thing and theme from Shaft, was sold for $30,000 on the orders of a court following his bankruptcy in 1976. Now his relatives are planning to recover the rights to the material - which is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in royalties - to provide financial security for his widow and two-year-old son. An elder son, Isaac Hayes III, says, "He definitely was done wrong. I'm very passionate about that (providing security for the family). If that means me trying to get my father's material back, I'm all for it."Hayes' attorney, Allen Arrow, says, "I can't rule out litigation... I would hope that we can retrieve a good part of what he lost." And Lance Armstrong, president of Rondor Music, which owns the publishing rights to Hayes' songs, added: "He lost millions, and it was morally and ethically wrong to take it from him. He was devastated."The soul singer died from a stroke earlier this month.

50 Blasts Kim Osorio

In light of new allegations from her book, 'Straight From The Source' rapper 50 Cent was asked whether or not he messed around with former Source editor Kim Osorio, to which he replied,"I messed with Kim a while ago, she licked on me before the deal…when they weren’t worth much. She licked me once and now shes a star. I got some advice for all aspiring women journalists, it may not make the best sellers list, but lick me and you are on the road to the riches!!”

Snoop Locked Up

Actor Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson got arrested last week after cops picked her up for refusing to testify in a murder trial. One of Snoop's boys stabbed three dudes, one of them fatally, in Snoop's defense after she got into it with the guys at a New York Fried Chicken place in Baltimore. The skirmish started inside and cops were called to calm things down, but the melee flared up again once they got outside because the two groups were parked close to each other. When Snoop failed to appear in court they went to her house with a "body attachment" warrant and when they busted in they found 2 blunts and weed residue.

Yung Berg Stomped Out In Detroit

Yung Berg got his ass kicked last night by local Detroit rapper Trick Trick. According to The Whole Nine blog, Yung Berg went to Detroit Friday for a Saturday night performance at 102.7's annual Summer Jamz concert. They say Berg and his boys went out Friday night and crossed paths with Trick Trick, the same Trick Trick who beat Miami rapper Trick Daddy's ass in Detroit few years ago. Now, I don't know the reasons why, but they say Trick Trick and 'nem stomped Yung Berg out and took his chain. Both Trick and Yung Berg are scheduled to play Summer Jamz tonight, so if anybody go, be sure to report back to the group if Trick wore Berg's Transformer chain on stage and if Berg look beat down or not.

Da Brat Sentenced Three Years

A DeKalb County judge sentenced rapper Da Brat to three years in prison Friday for striking a woman with a rum bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub. Superior Court Judge Gail Flake also sentenced the rapper, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, to seven years probation and 200 hours of community service.
The incident happened at a Halloween party at Studio 72 nightclub on Oct. 31 2007. The club is on Highway 29 near Tucker.
About six members of Harris’s family wept when a sheriff’s deputy took her into custody.
“I love y’all,” Harris, 34, said as she was led out of the courtroom. “We love you too” the relatives replied in unison. Harris entered a guilty plea to aggravated assault. The victim, a waitress at the club, had to be hospitalized after being struck by Harris, and Flake said the woman suffered permanent facial scarring. Harris and the victim had gotten into an altercation prior to the assault, police said at the time.
