My mother loved James Brown. She always had his music playing in the house.

I'm only 21 but I've always (how long is that really,I know) respected and appreciated Mr.Browns music and contributions. Out of respect for the departed, I've been listening to "Paid The Cost To Be The Boss","Down And Out In NYC",and maybe my favorite cut by the man,"Living In America". Rest In Peace,Mr.Brown. Thanks.

The Godfather of Soul will live on in all the different types of music of today. I don't think that there is another entertainer that has been sampled as much as Mr. Brown. We Love you James, RIP.

I love how some of the white people are off-beat with their clapping.

James Brown influenced the musical and cultural path of America. But he couldn't get white folks to clap on beat. *sigh!*
