Frankie Writes a Memoir

Keyshia Cole's mama Frankie Lons' is really being productive these days. Hot on the heels of her new dance track "The Frankie Leg" [click here if you missed that], comes her riveting new memoir of life as a neglectful single mother and crackhead prostitute living on the streets in Oakland...

If dancing isn’t your thing, Frankie’s newest page turner is sure to keep you engaged. Published through Success Books and Media; The Best Years I Never Had takes readers through the pains of being a single mother on drugs, and Frankie’s fight to survive day to day. The petite powerhouse bares her personal struggles and uses them to offer women sincere, heartfelt understanding and candid advice about sex, drugs, and overcoming adversities.

“This book will inspire; it tells the story of a lady who’s been through everything from battling with drugs to resorting to prostitution and everything in between....this is her journey to turn her life around and merge into society.” Explains Frankie’s Manager, acclaimed author and platinum producer Leroy McMath, “She’s showing people that she has changed her life and they can do it too.”

It comes out online Dec. 20th with the paperback in stores on Jan. 24th.

Glad she is trying to be productive and get her life together, just hope every other line does not begin with "At the end of the day"

Yeah stop riding your daughters coat tail sickning because you did not raise keisha cole.....

I need to sale this book. So sense I'm too old to prostitute myself. I'll put my daughter Keyshia Cole out there. Instead of writing a book Frankie go find all your kids and be a parent and grandparent. This is really a HOE sit down moment. An EPIC FAIL

@9:00 AM - sadly it very well may be. the same ghetto idiots who watched her tv show will buy this book.

LMAO!!! 'At the end of the day, you must respect the law of the land...never disrespect your MAMA!"

Overlook, of course, the fact that she was NEVER a "mother" and did not raise you...of course, of course, let's not get caught up in the minor details.

Well, everybody gotta eat and this isn't another televised coonfest err reality show project.

I ain't gonna hate. Carry on!

Maybe movie mogul, STEVE HARVEY, can help Frankie put her life story on the big screen

Not gonna hate on this lady for trying to better herself and find meaning in her struggle. After all, it is far more positive to believe that the things one has gone through, had to be for a reason and maybe the shyt I went through, and came out on the other side of, can help someone else not go through what I did, or get out. So I am not going to hate on this survivor. I truly hope, for her and her family's sake, that this effort is only positive. I'm assuming she got Keyshia's permission to put Keyshia's picture on the cover. Cause it's on there. So Frankie keep pushin ahead, come what may, and be a blessing to be blessed!

I thought the pic was Frankie when she was a child on the cover, not Keyshia O_o

In any event.... Good luck Frankie.

You aint gotta write a book on hoe-ing and crack smoking cause we all can pretty much guess how it goes without reading about it. Shit, if that's the case, then all the other deadbeat, prostitute, crackhead mothers in the world should be writing their books, too, because its all the same no matter who's telling the story.

Frankie can serve a better purpose by just fading into the background, and quit chasing the limelight 'cause the limelight don't need her.

Frankie still riding on the coattail of Keyshia,
ENOUGH Frankie, sit your ass down.

This disgusts me.Keyshia never should have put her damn family in that show. Now Frankie has found another way to get attention for her crackhead ways.
