Advertisers Pulling Out on Sorority Sisters


Pull out game strong.

Advertisers abandoning ship on VH1's controversial new reality show 'Sorority Sisters' amid growing backlash…

Monday night during the season premier of VH1's Sorority Sisters members of the storied Black sororities represented on the show, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho, banded together to target the the show's advertisers calling for boycotts and demanding the show be pulled of the air.

So far their efforts appear to be working.

Carmex, Hallmark and the motion picture Selma have all agreed to pull advertising from the show.
