Insiders tell TMZ LAPD Gang Unit have gotten involved with the case because they suspect four of Chris Brown's close friends and Blood gang members set up the robbery with the help of a club promoter.
The source claims Chris also believes members from his inner circle are to blame and has since cut all ties.
