Jermaine Dupri Responds to Super Bowl Backlash

Earlier this year Jermaine Dupri accepted the job of curator for a pre-Super Bowl music festival sponsored by the NFL despite a number of high profile Black artists turning down Super Bowl invitations in solidarity with blackballed NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Bullshit backlash...stop supporting the chiefs becoz of Patrick Mahomes.

Ask Richard Sherman why did he choose to sugn with the 49ers? The same team that cur Kaperneck because he was protesting???

Some black folks are full of shit and the world knows it.

Where was all this outrage when Colin was the only player who would kneel during that season?

The 49ers didnt cut kap. They let him play the whole time he was protesting. He opted out of his contract and left. SECONDLY, the black players are not boycotting the nfl so i cant get mad a black celeb, I use that term VERY loosely for Jermaine dupri, for getting some easy money. It is what it is. Until all of us stand up, and it starts with the players, nothing is going to get accomplished and nothing will change

Nobody complained when Be-yawn-say performed. Why don't black people just NOT watch the game. That would teach the NFL a huge lesson.
