"What A Difference A Day Makes" was a song that at a young age resonated with me. Also seeing a brown skin Black Woman on daytime tv, looking so elegant during my childhood in the seventies made this Harlem girl have hope. RIP Queen.

The song she made a standard was Guess Who I Saw Today. She sang it so much that it got to the point where she didn't like to sing it. Look up Guess Who, Midnight Sun, and Save Your Love For Me (with Cannonball Adderley). RIP, m'lady.

Epitomized a brand of elegance, style, class and grace that only black women seem to have.

What a beautiful classy spirit. She is leaving us with less and less reminders of the height of African American elegance. May her spirit rest. Blessings!
