Tidal Addresses Criminal Investigation Claims

This week there were reports that Jay Z's music streaming service Tidal was under criminal investigation in Norway for inflating the streaming numbers for some of their artists [click here if you missed that].

Tidal flat out denies the claims...
A statement from Tidal released the media reads,
“Tidal is not a suspect in the investigation. We are communicating with ├śkokrim. From the very beginning, DN has quoted documents that they have not shared with us in spite of repeated requests. DN has repeatedly made claims based on information we believe may be falsified. We are aware that at least one person we suspected of theft has been questioned. We cannot comment further at this time and refer to our previous statement, which still stands.”

Boosting numbers that aren't true is called fraud. I'm not quite sure who the fuck listens to Tidal. Everyone listens to either Apple, Spotify, Pandora or Soundcloud. I never hear people talking about listening to Tidal.
