Donald Glover Makes Grammy History

Donald Glover's alter ego Childish Gambino makes history after winning Grammys for song and record of the year...

This Is America won both awards, making it the first rap song to do so.

The Grammy Award for song of the year honors song writers, while record of the year goes to the recording artist.

Glover was not there to accept the award and declined an invitation to perform.

Fun Fact: Donald Glover was accused of ripping off artist Jase Harley's American Pharaoh for This Is America [click here if you missed that] and Harley's fans have been flooding his comment section with congratulations on his indirect Grammy Award.

Overall Childish Gambino makes AWFUL music, so I would not be surprised that he ripped off This Is America. Like for real, he made 2 decent songs, Redbone and This Is America. He's a weirdo and his music reflects that. But CONGRATS anyway, great song!

Wow, I did not know any of this. Very sad. Hopefully the underground artist Jase gets his flowers while he's still here. He spoke nothing but the truth on that last screenshot.

the cadence seems similiar its hot song but I dont think its that similiar maybe we have same struggle so alot of the shit we say is the same. plus in the music game its who make it hotter and can get the word out.

I hope Jase can keep his head up because I know what it's like to be cheated. Eventually, he'll see his blessings overflow.
