I've been down there before. That's what those kids do. When your on you're lil buggie the kids are standing along the route. That's why they encourage you not to give them any money. Then they'll be standing to the side with grapes or other fruit to give the buggie rider. In turn, you need to come off that dollar bill. They're like 'lil ants. Very beautiful area to vacation, but those folks are poor as hell. God Bless them and God bless BigBoi

When I went to Jamaica years ago, we were told by the person that transported us from the airport to not to give the kids money on the streets, and not to go anywhere near Kingston. He's lucky someone stopped the kids and he was able to move on, because a mob mentality could of occurred real quick. I wonder if he was warned about doing that? You do feel sorry for the kids, but you have to be safe.

Yea if they kid is alone, by themself and they ask for a dollar its not too bad, but when they are in a group asking, they will mob you. When I went years ago I was told not to wear shiny jewelry, flash my phone etc, D.R. is like that, in Jamaica I didn't see that.
