They don't need a reboot leave the classics alone. Hollyweird has officially ran out of ideas, also sis wearing the Nipsey shirt and holding up what sign she's holding up, needs more people. I don't believe you and you don't look authentic, stop.

Leave it alone! It's like remaking Menace or Juice.

The first film wasnt even that good. And the terrible writing made the women look like IDIOTS.

1. Why was Stony thinking about robbing a bank instead of seeking legal representation. Those cops unloaded like 80 bullets into her brother's body. That was definitely excessive force and grounds for a lawsuit.

2. Same with Frankie. Why isnt she seeking a lawyer for a wrongful termination lawsuit? Her employers had no right to fire her.

3. So 4 women were in the SAME room as a child that couldnt even walk and NOBODY noticed he was missing? (Side eye)

4. Why would Stony even wanna rob a bank after meeting fine ass Keith (Blair Underwood)?? He was basically the perfect Black man.

5. Who is dumb enough to hide a bag of money in a vent at WORK??? C'mon son!

R in NYC says:

Stony and TeeTee were the dumbest of them all. Letting that dirty old man hit it and then tore up the check.....where they do that at? He paid you for your ho services and you ripping up the check over your knucklehead brother???
Nobody had money to pay the Diner bill...
Don't get me started on that one.
Luther was my favorite in the whole movie: If you don't like working for Luther Janitorial..then take your broke azz home!!
Bwahahahahaha!

I agree with Gg57- (except for #5, like why in TF was ol' boy worried about the vents?) The name of the movie should have been THIRSTY

I'm not a fan of the continuous remaking of classics. But the personal attacks about ISSA's looks and career are a bit amateurish. Hopefully the story will be better this time around.

As with most reboots I'm pretty sure we are going to hate it. People don't like change and somethings really do need to be left alone!

Who shit in your Cheerios? Why tf are you so angry at someone that you do not know?? Woo Saaah! lol

Lol this is why I don’t watch much tv or go to the movies. Ain’t shit worth watching. All these reboots, remakes, prequels, and sequels and shit. And when it comes to good tv shows they’ll cancel that bitch or ruin it with the quickness to keep some other bullshit going for 10+ seasons SMH

If these folks are all that why not come up with your own shit,??? Leave it alone and this chick is over rated.

#IssaNo to the remake of set it off. Y'all better watch these handpicked and vetted Africans immigrants coming in trying to "remake" foundational black American culture and portray our icons (see Harriet Tubman, MLK, etc.) Since we black Americans are no longer falling for the white supremacist okee dokee, they need a group of black people to replace us as an "underclass" and these shameless C--ns are happy to comply.

She throwing up the devil horns so if you're a family member or friend now wold be a good time to disappear.

Issa no for me. I think Issa's quite one-dimensional and she's no longer appealing now that she's move from YouTube to Hollywood. Some people aren't built for the limelight and she's one of them. I like her on Insecure but even there she's bland. She should stick to working behind the scenes and keep perfecting the Black Lady Sketch Show. That shit is pure hilarity.

I won't be able to take this endeavor serious at all. How can you re-image a movie that can't be duplicated properly?

@3:44

She does look like an aardvark!!!!! Lol!!! I commend her as a black woman for creating content but she's annoying!

Wow. I wish Issa success on her endeavors because by her being out there & doin the damn thing she makes it easier for me as a black woman. She represents us well & her natural hairstylist is FIRE FIRE FIRE. Her hair is fantastic on the red carpet. Why is it so hard for us to support our own who are doing well & handling their business with self-respect. She is self-made & a good role model.

@4:14p, We, I, Black women and Black people did, do, have and had shown support by watching Awkward Black Girl, Insecure, Little, Black Lady Sketch show, etc. She wouldn't have it made nowhere near this far without OUR support because I assure you white folks wasn't checking for her shows like that. But if something ain't popping, it ain't popping.

Nobody has to love everything everybody does. I don't get why people feel like Black people deserve only praise and accolades regardless of how crappy an idea sounds. Save for the name calling and personal attack on her appearance, honest feedback and constructive criticism can be useful at times and keeps people grounded, ya know.

The idea of remaking a movie (classic or otherwise) is usually met with skepticism because it shows a lack of range or creativity. So please don't diminish ALL the support she has received over the years, mainly from US, because she couldn't have gotten anywhere close to where she is now without it.

Man they just feed us the same shit over and over! Leave that movie alone. I know there's some new stories they could tell.Dam!
