Russell Simmons to Address #MeToo Movement in New Book

Russell Simmons is working on a new memoir called 'Confessions of a Hip Hop Yogi...'

In a chapter called 'The Awakening" Russell tells Page Six
“It’s about my advice for young men and the positivity that has come out of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement. If I want to service humanity, I want my book to be helpful. At first, [that] chapter was . . . more defensive."
“I want to build bridges. There aren’t a lot of bridges being built. There’s a lot of finger-pointing.”
Russell currently stands accused of sexual misconduct by more than a dozen women who came forward during the #MeToo movement spawned by the sexual assault trial of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein [click here if you missed that].

I've heard too many first hand stories during the 90s about him. Sorry, but needs to be held accountable too.

R in NYC says:

Hip Hop Yogi....kneegrow please. Yogi the Bear has more credibility than you.
I wish he'd build a bridge and get his azz over it. No one is buying his New Age smoke screen.

Russell you need to keep that book to yourself, before a book comes out about you & all of your GAY lovers in the industry. Ask LL Cool J or the many little boys you have penetrated over the years since the 80's.
