Have a Safe Spiritual journey! She was gorgeous and a real life black Barbie doll of the 70s! Such a beautiful, talented woman she was.

R.I.P. Diahann Carroll. Harlem raised. She made and will continue to make those of us from Harlem proud.

Claudine is my favorite movie. She was nominated for an Oscar for that role. That film is studied in schools because it explained the male personification of welfare in an expert manner.

"The Makings of You" remake by Gladys Knight and The Pips always chokes me up and was the featured song on Claudine's soundtrack.

The whole soundtrack from Claudine is fantastic but "The Makings of You" is my favorite.

Rest well, Queen. You shook up the world!
