Ayesha Curry's Restaurant Evicted Over Back Rent


Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors star point guard Steph Curry, loses the lease on her Houston restaurant...

Regulars at International Smoke in CityCentre were stunned this week to find an eviction notice on the locked front door of the popular establishment.

Ayesha co-owns the restaurant with celebrity chef Michael Mina and there are five locations across the country.

According to reports International Smoke Houston closed with several reservations for holiday events still booked and gift cards still outstanding.

She didn't make the decision to close it and she didn't run the day to day operations. Their other three locations in California are still open.

She can obviously afford to pay to keep the doors open but everybody can't run a business successfully. Even fewer people can run multiple businesses successfully. Whether you co-own or are sole owner you have to know all the ins and outs of what's going on. This might be a case of her business partner dropping the ball at that location because they're too overwhelmed with the daily operations as well as managing the back-end operations. I see it happen all the time but we shall see. The truth always comes out.
