Tyler Perry's Nephew Allegedly Commits Suicide in Jail
Tyler Perry's nephew found dead inside his prison cell...
Tyler Perry's sister's son Gaven, who was serving 20 years in prison for murdering his father in front of his mother back in 2016, allegedly hung himself in his jail cell.
According to reports Tyler's nephew had gotten into a fight with another prisoner and was placed in solitary confinement. Gaven was later found hanging by bedsheets during a routine check of his cell.
While prison officials claim there was no foul play, Tyler's family are reportedly not convinced.
Gaven, age 26 at the time of his death, pleaded no contest to manslaughter and was housed inside a prison facility in St. Helena Parish in Louisiana.

Killing his own father in front of mother? Doing 20 years at 26? But Tyler Perry is your uncle, whew that's a lot of tragedy going on there. I'm sure his sister is going through it.
Maybe Gaven wasn't built to do prison time. Not every person can handle 20 years in prison. Prison is not for the faint of heart.
@snitch these protruding ads will be the death of this site
If he was murdering his father in front of his mother he obviously has deeper than surface issues and possibly mental issues as well. Tf does Tyler Perry being his uncle have anything to do with it?
Rich famous people have to solve the problems of everyone remotely connected to them?
Sheesh!
Suicide is such a selfish & cowardly way to die. It leaves so many pieces for the family to pick up while the dead person gets their picture on a t-shirt & RIP speeches.
@6:32 PM ITA! Snitch, what the what is going on? Please make it stop.
@6:32- Cosign!!
The pop-ups are annoying Snitch.
