Spinderella Incensed Over Salt N' Pepa Biopic

Last year Hip Hop icons Salt N' Pepa kicked DJ Spinderella out of the group just months before they were to begin a 90s music tour [click here if you missed that].

Spin talks about being erased from Salt N' Pepa's legacy ahead of their biopic on Lifetime...

Lifetime should have left Salt and Pepa out of the development of the movie too. Maybe then we could have gotten an accurate story. Instead of that watered down story they sold us. You can't tell me Pep didn't indulge in drugs. They had an opportunity to give it up and they missed. VH1 did a better job with Behind the music.

I didn't watch it (has it premiered?), But I caught the interview with Salt n Peppa on Wendy's show. I'm surprised Wendy didn't mention Spin, and truthfully, I forgot she was even in the group while watching the interview. But, yeah, based on their interviews I knew a lot of details would be left out. Like when Salt said that her family didn't sign up for this, and that the story was only supposed to be about her and Peppa, I knew it was only gonna be half truths and watered down revisionist history shit. If you're gonna do a biopic on the group, then include all the group members. Include all the pressure from your family and their dynamics that led to certain decisions. You can't have a story that only focuses on two group members, and not about their family issues, drug issues, and abusive relationships. Which is why I won't be watching Salt n Peppa's biopic. Nor will I watch Wendy's. Too much revisionist history sprinkled with blatant lies.

It's TV and a couple of hours of primetime. You can only tell so much info. in a short period of time.
I am not sure what the problem S&P have with Spin. Is it money?

Nobody tells everything.

I could never forget about Spinderella. Just because, they're having issues they could have mentioned her. That says alot about Salt and Pepa as individuals if they can just erase her like that.

Run DMC wouldn't leave Jam Master J out.
But, I do think Whodini had issues with Grand Master D, the Green Eyed Bandit.

Hate to see them all fall out.

Even though they left it out the movie the issue with Spin is she wasn't the first Spin.(Jam master Jay was the only DJ) Which should not matter because she was there since the Push It video. Then when they sued Herb for robbing them. Spin had to sue them for not wanting to pay her any of the settlement.

The beef died down but on the reality show they did with SWV it was clear Spin was still mad and they also tried to stop her from doing future jobs.

IF they had edited down Salt's vomiting down to 1 scene, every single time Herbie cheated and how and Martin Lawrence telling jokes there was room for Spin to have a voice. Herb did them worse than Spin but he was the star. Same way Herb tried to shit on Pepa is the same thing they did to Spin but Salt is so sweet. Ok.

Spinderella keep shining. Pep's ass OMG when she was trying to walk and her shit was to the left. She is also so extra and too old to be doing the fucking most all day. Still wearing horrible weaves, 20 inch nails guess to reach her ass wherever it appears when she wakes up. And great for Salt who has not purged one thing or been on a diet in 20 years.

She's not really a DJ. They always paid her as a dancer, right or wrong.

I didn't watch that "special" but it was messy to keep spin out of it.

I didn't watch it and I'm not going to watch it. I can't get over how fat Salt is, I want to know where is her neck??? It look like Salt's head is laying on her shoulders. Pepa's butt implants look terrible both of them are a whole mess.

^ then here come DJ we tryna erase looking unscratched and age appropriate. Nope can't have that. I would love to see Wendy hire Spin or somebody she did do the Squares and people loved her.

Nothing but the truth. Salt and Pepa tried to wipe Spin completely out like she never contributed to their success. It could be a slight of jealousy involved, Spin still looks good.

It was a good movie to me but Spinderella should get over it because the group is called SALT & PEPA. She was the DJ and who barely did anything but move around. She should feel some gratitude that she was invited to be a part of a successful hip hop ensemble but clearly the rappers were Sandy & Cheryl.

But it wasen't called Salt N Pepa + Herbie and Martin Lawrence as an opening act either. Yet they all got their props. As their third wheel you just know every time something was up with one Spin sat with the other one and chopped it up, know about whatever abortions, drugs, threesomes, fuck behinds and anything else that goes on between besties and probably never said a word. She mighta not started that gangsta shit but that's the motherfuckin thanks she gets??

At this point Spinderella is the only one who can still move around. Salt is too damn fat, no neck, Pepa has a set of bad implants in her ass and screws in her back. Salt and Pepa will soon be rapping from wheelchairs.

New act alert... Salt and Pepa featuring their home attendants. But wait could it be that Spin owns her name and they have to pay her when they use it. I did read that on another site. Might be why they barely uttered her name. Think they introduced her as Spii LOL.

I didn't watch because I dont think they really had time to tell the real truth, but I will say that spin definitely played a major roll, and she shouldn't have been cut out. I'll go and watch the madness though this wknd.
