The first set of kids have ALL graduated with a full academic ride to college...
Ten years ago, LeBron James created the "I Promise" program to help Akron students graduate high school.

This year, the inaugural class graduated, with all 193 students awarded free tuition to either the University of Akron or Kent State University.

Thats amazing, Love to see this. This is whats important not rapping, twerking, sexual bs and the other nonsense that we are represented by unfortunately. Proud of them, and Lebrons work!
I love it when he shows them he can do more than dribble.
Waitaminute, he open the school in 2018, how did the kids graduate on time especially with the Covid shutting down schools last year???
I Believe The Children Are The Future...
Teach Them Well & Let Them Lead The Way

Outstanding-That's what's up, giving back!
Gone HEAD!!
Maybe Diddy can do the same with his Harlem Prep school because those kids have to pay for their uniforms and anything else that comes with a cost. And they are supposed to be disadvantaged kids. Uh, yeah.

Anon 9:24am, Have you ever heard of on classes? Maybe you should go back to school. Stop trying to take away these kids ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!
^ you cant depend on leech serpent Diddy to do anything all the way correct. There is all ways an under line gratuity for him in the equation.
Look at those proud smiles those kids have. Best to them. Show them how its done Lebron.

"Have you ever heard of on classes"
You mean Online Classes?
Bitch, you should take your ass back to school.
Unlike Diddy and Dr. Umar Johnson, I trust Lebron's intentions and know he doesn't have any financial impropriety for creating a school to help minorities in Ohio. But, yes, this *is* how it's done. We need more men like Lebron who aren't afraid to create, motivate, and hold that ladder for the next generation. It's a character trait that I respect and admire in a black man. Congratulations to the new graduates!

A Charter School supported by taxpayers; at best, James maybe made a donation for supplies ... Thank You to all the teachers that taught, supported and guided these students to success.
