Urgh, sometimes I hate my type 3 hair texture. We just have to find a technique and stick with it once it has produced good results. Stay strong. I think her hair looks nice anyway.

Yall, that family has too much money for her to feel that way. She can afford any type of hairstyle management system to her liking. This is what happens when we have social media parents

No one needs her false praise nor misinformation. Our hair is NOT hard to manage unless we're tryna look like them or we're using tools made for their hair and not ours.

Her time might be better spent off social media.

I was natural for 13 years and one day I woke up like Im tired of this shit, I have to get up; two hours earlier just to comb hair, not to mention I got two little girls with thick beautiful hair. I gotta a perm. I can wrap my hair and comb it down in ten mins and be ready to start the day. I still LOc with my permed hair and its still healthy but I couldnt do no more.

I cried over my big feet until I saw a woman without any feet. Your hair is only bad when you don't have any on your head. Otherwise if you have hair on your head it's good hair. Dry those tears and feel grateful for the hair that you have.

@9:17am AMEN!! Say it again! I truly don't understand this. You literally have the hair women perm and hot-comb their hair to get and still...its a problem. You literally have access to a sleuth of hairstylist and money to get a different style everyday, and still there is a problem.
Here's the thing...THIS IS NOT ABOUT HER HAIR. This is about her love for herself and level of self esteem. The symptom of the true problem is her issues with her beautiful hair but the real problem is that she DOES NOT Love and accept herself exactly as she is. This is the foundation of personal issues.

I don't like my fathers hair.
Translation: I don't like my father because he's a pervert.

She better be glad her hair isn't thick. Straightening thick hair is where a lot of operators drop the ball. My grandmother has 2c/3a hair that used to be so full until her nephew started doing it. She started wondering why her hair was falling out. One day, I noticed that he was too lazy to put her hair into sections before using that hand dryer with the comb attachment. Stevie wonder could see the little balls rolling around the floor.

Man 4C hair is no joke. And I know for hella years folks say oh it’s so thick it’s so hard to do. So I stopped dealing with folks. I loc’d my hair for about 12 years and then I cut it. It shrinks and I want to cry. My Loc’s were waist length. But I’m still rocking the natural cause I want to empower the babies and I let them know nothing is better on your head than what grows on it … I’ll Loc again soon

As her momma said, "she is doing the most". She has the money and resources to go to a natural hair stylist

My 4c hair looks awesome in my Locs. I love my hair and I wish others felt the same way. We have to recognize the structure that is set us to make us not love ourselves and raise above it.

Look at the bright side society says if you don't like the way you look or don't feel comfortable in your skin get plastic surgery or use make-up and tell others that it is a reflection of you on the inside. Don't stress about acceptance of what you perceived to be ugly anymore.

I guess it's hard to looked mixed, but not really be mixed. Lol!

I have never heard of hair having no. grade. Is there a chart or something?

Deyjah, seek help. You’re bitching about your hair that you hide 95% of time with weaves and wigs.. Not once do you even wear your natural hair out in public or on tv. Stop it

Sounds to me like Miss Deja is more upset that she didn't get the grade of hair she thought she deserve based on either her looks or jer complexion. And if she never received any affirmations or was told she was beautiful growing up, she needs to blame her mama as much as Encyclopedia Britannica for that. She has two parents. Her self esteem is what really needs fixing. In the meantime she should find her a good stylist and quit whining. Tiny's hair stays laid so I know she can hook her up with some good contacts.
