Kandi Burruss Restaurant Called Out Over $4 Ice

Back in June The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker's Atlanta steakhouse 'Blaze' got unwanted attention after failing their health inspection [click here if you missed that].

Now comes more unwanted attention after a diner calls out Blaze for charging $4 extra for ice...

$8 for a Red bull is highway damn robbery. Charging for ice is ri-damn-diculous!

NeNe's restaurant, The Linnethia Lounge never has this problem and I'm beginning to wonder what's wrong with Kandi's management style. $4 for ice and even if it's a rock, is robbing your customers.

Fuck the $4 ice...hell $15 and $8 for both a cheeseburger and redbull is fraud in plain sight!

She let Tod run this restaurant. He doesn't know what he is doing. He has to find a reason to exist in her financial world.

I live in Atlanta, and you couldn't pay me to eat, in their overpriced, constantly failing inspection "restaurant" what these fools know about running a restaurant?

That's not a charge for ice, it's for the extra pour. A standard pour of liquor is a shot (1.5 oz). A rocks pour (or even a neat) is 2 ounces. That's the upcharge, not ice. It's industry standard, however, I understand the confusion.

Only the Red Bull seems overpriced to me but inflated or not I'm tripping on that whopping 18% sales tax that's not even broken down on the receipt to reflect food or liquor. That's where the real sham is.

^^^ Lol you know these simple ass niggas don’t know nothing

WOW! I needed to look more closely because they actually did charge a separate food and liquor tax. So what exactly is the other 18% for? Is there live music or entertainment there or something?

@ 1:35 PM

Your ass is hilarious. Bwahahahahahahaha!!!! That episode was funny but your comparison to Kandi's restaurant is even funnier.

Unfortunately, the charges reflected in that bill are pretty standard at most restaurants now. If the restaurant serves those 2-3in. rounded ice balls, then you will pay for them. Most upscale restaurants charge for them, they may not itemize them in the bill, but they definitely charge. I recently stayed in a hotel outside D.C. and a cheeseburger (vegan) was almost $15+ tax.
