Well at least she's got the balls to say it! Most don't or have a clue what's going on. The campaign to go to war with Russia is blatant propaganda. Putin is actually in the right. NATO made an agreement with the USSR/ Russia not to move further East in Europe. And NATO wants to go in on a technicality that the agreement was made with the USSR not Russia. Do you think the US would want Russian troops on their borders if they went in on a technicallity considering Alaska used to be part of Russia???? No.

If people knew anything they would have known voting for Biden would mean this. They created a coup and threw out the real president of Ukraine and put in their puppet president under Obama. This has been planned. And you better believe if Hillary won instead of Trump we would have already been to war with Russia.

Putin has declared war with Ukraine and Trump is holding fundraisers in the US with Republican senators. The same Republicans that planned a Jan. 6th coup at the US capitol. You don't have to be an expert on politics or international law to know that Trumpf and the Republicans are treasonous idiots! Putin is a dictator with a real world threat to DEMOCRACY! Putin needs to be stopped, and I shudder to think where the U.S would be if that orange, traitorous, treasonous, idiot was still occupying the presidency. Biden will get us through this; our European allies will get us through this. Trump is an orange traitorous idiot. Period.

^5:13... I'm no expert on politics or international law but why can't the following simple yes or no questions be answered democratically? Or is this actually a democratic response?

Ted Cruz: How many FBI agents or confidential informants actively participated in the events of January 6th?

FBI's Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch Jill Sanborn: I can't answer that.

Ted Cruz: Did any FBI agents or confidential informants commit crimes of violence on January 6?

FBI's Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch Jill Sanborn: I can't answer that.

Ted Cruz: Did any FBI agents or FBI informants actively encourage and incite crimes of violence on January 6?

FBI's Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch Jill Sanborn: I can't answer that.

It's fine if you choose to be ignorant to the facts, just don't be blind to what's right in front of your face.

First off, America will continue to crumble if we fail to educate ourselves outside of social media. Taiwan and Ukraine govern themselves similar to the USA. Imagine being like the US and then China and/or Russia decides you must govern like us. We have been dealing with this for decades. This is not a happenstance. Trump is so ignorant and tried to keep his pee tapes private that he did whatever Putin said to hide his own bs. This is bigger than Candace uglllaaaaassssss

@9:31 (I have secret service friends). White supremacy is deep within govt. As a way to find out who was what, when and who they got to keep that under raps and please believe my homie has co workers they bout to fire. Its deeper than deep and a way to keep it tight is to say nothing.

it's quite ironic that Republicans always talk about fearing communism but will support a communist leader. It's all fun and game until Russia attacks us.

Anonymous said...

Why are Republicans siding with any communist dictators is the real question. Russia? North Korea?

Anonymous said...

The right to invade? Really no country has any right to invade any other country unless it's to protect the people there from another regime. If this is all about preventing our soldiers from fighting a war, then this invasion is only going to increase forces there, and Republicans are very pro-war.

Actually, this goes all the way back to the Gorbachev era and Putin being upset that he sold Russia out. This is a conflict that's been in the making for decades and it's an ego play for Putin to enact his grand plan of asserting power across Europe. If we're talking technicalities, this wouldn't be in Putin's favor because he truly has no leg to stand on. NATO didn't renege a damn thing. But at the end of the day, human rights, democracy, and all that other jazz doesn't even matter. Know why? Because it always come down to one single thing every single time: MONEY. Simply put, Ukraine being an independent nation stands in the way of Putin having unfettered access to oil reserves which will allow him to expand his empire and dominate world markets. The EU gets about 40% of its gas via Russian pipelines, several of which run through Ukraine. So do people really think the timing of any of this is just a coincidence, especially at the cusp of a global pandemic? Tuh!

"European gas prices jumped on news of the invasion, while international benchmark Brent crude futures surpassed $100 a barrel for the first time since 2014 ... Russia’s invasion of Ukraine represents one of the worst security crises in Europe in decades. It is also expected to have far-reaching implications for the global economy, particularly given Russia’s role as the world’s second-largest producer of natural gas and one of the world’s largest oil-producing nations."

michaelfmoore Ah, Chernobyl. One of Ukraine's finest hours when it was part of the Soviet Union. Nice to see Russia helping again. Of course Russia should be upset if we made Ukraine part of NATO. Like how we'd react if the Soviet Union had made Mexico or Canada a member of the Warsaw Pact. Or if Russia had tried to put nuclear missiles in Cuba. We wouldn't stand for that!

Stop all war. No US troops anywhere. Putin -- get some mental help. Your people made the greatest sacrifice in WW II - 27 million dead. We couldn't have defeated Hitler without you. We in this country have never sufficiently acknowledged your suffering and your loss. And then thank God for the brilliant Gorbachov who ended the Cold War and the threat of nuclear annihilation between us.

I prefer today to think of all the good Russia has done for the world. So let's stop. This is the 21st century for chrissakes. What you're doing looks so old and weird and old. You are no longer in the KGB. Take off your shirt, go sit in the sauna, then go ride your horse. Ukraine is not joining NATO. The people of the US are sick of war and we will restrain our government. The Czar is dead. He's not coming back. What would Marx say about your love of money and state-sponsored capitalism and oligarchs? The life expectancy of the average Russian male is between 62 and 68 years old. Focus on that.

In 2014, Russia annexed a part of Ukraine (Crimea) and since then has been funding and arming Pro-Russian separatist and terrorist groups that have seized Donbas, an eastern region in Ukraine. Russia has been funding a civil war in Ukraine, essentially. Recently, the separatist groups have been sending civilian women, children and elderly out of Ukraine and into Russia, but leaving fighting-age men inside. These separatist are directly controlled by Kremlin (the government of Russia) and they are how Russia has been leading a proxy war on Ukraine since 2014.

But now, Russia has sent their own troops in, which is an invasion. They are doing it under the pretence of ‘peacekeeping’, but this is an obvious lie.

Russia accuses Ukraine of aggressing on Donbas and on Russia, prompting the war on Russia and conducting genocide on its own people. None of this is true. Russia is the one arming Pro-Russian terrorists in Ukraine, Russia has been surrounding and provoking Ukraine with military, and is the one that has been spreading misleading historically-inaccurate disinformation. It’s what Russia did in Georgia in 2008 and similar to what Germany did in Poland in 1939.

A lot of people will blame this on NATO expansion concerns, but the truth is that NATO expansion has been a "concern" for years and nothing like this has ever happened (even the Invasion of Crimea in 2014 wasn't near the level of what's happening right now). Putin's not afraid of NATO; NATO's largely proved to be 'all bark and no bite' in response to repeated acts of Russian aggression since 2008. He's gotten bolder and bolder and tried to assassinate an ex-FSB agent-turned British spy on UK soil less than 5 years ago, for god's sake. Also, Ukraine's not even in NATO; if he wanted to be aggressive on that front, he'd go bother the Baltic states. If people think he's scared of NATO, they're not paying attention.

1. Ukraine has a lot of natural gas and mineral resource reserves, and he could be trying to control them. He could also be theoretically be trying to gain control of Ukraine's southern ports, since having access to those waters been an everlasting Russian NatSec and trading issue for say......the last thousand years. That doesn't really make much sense considering the circumstances, though, especially since Russia already controls Crimea.

2. He's an ex-KGB officer whose pride was mortally devastated by the fall of the USSR and has been longing to recreate what was lost for thirty years. He wants to reinstate the Russian Empire (or at least the USSR as he remembers it), and he's tired of waiting for these silly little democracies on his western border to give up their "teenage rebellion phase" and come home to Mother Russia. It would explain Russia's ongoing attempts to undermine democracy worldwide (including in the US in 2016) and their cyberwarfare against the US and UK too, since a Divided West is a Weak West and a Weak West is a Beatable West. It's Russian imperialism at its finest, led by a man emboldened by his hurt ego, the West's appeasement tactics re: Crimea, repeated lack of consequences for Russia's aggressiveness on the world stage, and four years of Trump sucking up to him.

FUCK PUTIN.....IDGAF what NATO or any other country did or didn't do...He should be Hunted & Assassinated just like Saddam Hussein. (Period)

Times up! Enough talking...Kill that POS ASAP.

Russia is land locked, no direct access to ports of entry (import/export of goods). They rely on Ukraine for access and pay a fee. This why Russia took over Crimean.

This porpoise-looking bed wench again? WE DON'T CARE......

Russia will take Ukraine. There is nothing we can do about it, it's an ugly fact. We will sanction them from here to high heaven and in return they'll restart cyber ransom attacks and send gas prices soaring. The End. Nothing will stop Putin and nothing will get Ukraine back to independence. New world order. Better to accept reality than to keep pointing fingers.

Anonymous said...

I disagree. We shouldn't just accept reality and defeat--we could fight back. Russia may have won this unfair battle against a weaker country, but now they will be fighting against the world. They're not the only country with nuclear weapons. Russia done fucked up.

Unknown said...

Russia is fucked, and the world leaders *will* hold them accountable. Especially since, China, Russia's ally and financial backer, is closely watching what's happening in Ukraine, for hopes of repeating the same invasion on Taiwan. Just watch. China could end this, but they won't. And as much as I love Biden, I wish we had Obama or a more liberal president. Biden is a lot like Jimmy Carter; weak. But only time will tell...

@1218 sorry to break your heart but once Russia gets Ukraine they aren't giving it up. Maybe once putin dies they'll give it up. Putin needs to be killed like they kill all the other terror bosses.
