The Rock Catching Heat for Withdrawing Support for Joe Rogan

Last week Joe Rogan issued an apology for seemingly spreading COVID misinformation on his Spotify podcast after Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Crosby, Stills and Nash pulled their music from Spotify in protest.

After Joe Rogan's flagrant n-word use was revealed in the aftermath [click here if you missed that] The Rock backpedaled on his previous support and is now catching heat from the anti-vaxx/plandemic set...

First The Rock deleted the comment below from Joe Rogan's Covid apology post.

Then after The Rock publicly backed down from supporting Joe Rogan, Joe Rogan fans began digging up every racist, sexist, transphobic thing The Rock has ever said, and there's a lot if it.

Hashtag #The Rock on social media if you're interested.

People like the Rock need to say what they mean and own it. Otherwise, STFU so there won't be anything to backpedal about. All the money, time and resources these celebs have on their hands and you mean to tell me they really didn't know who they were supporting before that person got called out?? FOH. And as for the IG-Twitter mafia, it was all good for them not to dig up any dirt on the Rock when they were enjoying his movies and crap. But now that they don't agree with his stance all of a sudden he's a mega villain too? Again, FOH.

I'm pretty tired of hearing about people relinquishing their convictions, having a sudden change of heart overnight, or magically gaining a different set of principles just because their popularity is being threatened. This back pedaling cancel culture crap has gotten way out of control.

Why would Rocky endorse this man and not know about him?
Because he’s a friend?
Because he’s white with a platform?
I smell fish. The big muscle kind and it stinks.
All black folk ain’t kinfolk

Phuk him. It’s safe for him to come out after Jo-Jo apologized. And the Rock is just making this move in preparation to run for office. He’s fooling no one.

Rock didnt know?

@ ALMA---- "JoJo"? Really? That's some next level fandom right there. The Rock was defending his views and for his right not to be censored. That's it. He obviously doesn't follow him as much as you think.

You’ve mistaken ridicule for admiration—ain’t no fans here. Rock is full of sh!t, as always.

If your high level on the food chain, you need more precaution on what you say. Or say nothing at all. You should have more to do with your life than be on social media running your mouth about ppl who are nobody. You would never get my vote for political office.

The dude is home 50 days out of a 365 day year do you think he spends it on you tube or listening to podcasts he spends the time with his family he knows Rogan in the hollywood sense of knowing someone they have hung out at a function or event and that was most likely because of Dwayne's recent appearances at UFC events as promotion appearances since Rogan is a commnetator and heavily involved in the UFC world im sure Rogan wasnt dropping N bombs in his presence so Dwayne judged him off of his interactions and probably respected his speaking of what he felt regardless if he agreed or not he supported his action to stand up and say what everyone is afraid to say, but when he found out that he was dropping N bombs recklessly he withdrew his support he idnetifies as being Black and Samoan he probably wasnt happy tolearn that Rogan was talking so recklessly in the past and took it personal he did not flip flop he corrected him self his previous stance of I support his right to free speech became I dont support him because he is a chump so even if he was right about free speech

If this was Whoopie or anybody else Black ass we could just end it right there. Bet Joe won't have to take one Covid Awareness Class. Not one.

A lotta Black folks don't believe in the Vaccination just like Joe.

The backstory to him offering support at first, was...The Rock had just inked a deal with the UFC for some merchandise. Through Dana, so when they offer you a business agreement. They expect with you to fall in line with their views. The figure they own you (literally). So they get a figurehead (who's famous), and figure it takes the focus off their Racist ways. In essence ALL money ain't good money...

The Rock is only loyal to his pockets.
He doesn’t even claim his black side.

He is old now. We need a younger and cuter Black muscle man hero. Someone that claims and looks his beautiful Blackness.
Not some diluted pale skin troll.

I KNEW he was a phony muscle headed, closeted racist. I never liked him. NEVER.

Dwayne craves white acceptance. I know he’s taking this hard.
