The NFL Makes a Pledge to Ice Cube's CWBA

Two years ago, right before the 2020 Presidential election, rapper Ice Cube announced his Contract with Black America Platinum Plan, endorsed by Donald Trump [click here if you missed that].

Since the other guy won the election, Ice Cube worked out a deal with the NFL...

Rehire Kaepernick!

@9:07 AM... Why? Kaepernick has been out of the NFL for five years and was no more than a backup QB at best before he left. What value could he possibly add to a team after a five year hiatus?

With the NFL this is smoke and mirrors, what could they possibly do for "black people" that the government won't do? Put billions towards education for blacks? Give reparations? Cut back on the prison industrial complex? No, Nope, and Never!

Good job Ice Cube! Been married to a black woman for decades, never caught in bed with a groupie, expanded his brand and never sold out. ๐Ÿ’—A Real Black Hero๐Ÿ’—

Just because he has an organization that says it helps black businesses does not mean that blk businesses will benefit from it. Stop begging for peanuts my people! Donald ain't have nothing for Ice Cube in office and it looks like he still has nothing for Cube. White people will do anything to get you to vote for THEIR progress.

@1:55 they give you the same thing they gave you in the second and third grade when you did well... A sticker! I see people show casing their "I Voted" stickers on social media all day and these candidates turn their back on your black ass once they get in office, OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. They don't respect you because they don't have to!

^^^^Those elected don't turn their backs they are always who they have been. White people stay progressing cause they not only vote during the presidency but during the primaries. If you noticed (which you probably have not), 85 percent of black Americans vote for a president, and only 25% vote during the primaries. Numbers don't lie. The white man has done his job of telling you to vote for president and during the midterms they tell you don't vote cause you never got what you wanted. Donald ain't got ish for us and yet he has convinced the coons that Mitch Mcconnell gone give yall what you want. Keep believing that sky Jesus gone fix everything via Republicans.

Tell the NFL we want black owners and coaches first.

@1:55 & @2:45

Exactly!!! Black ppl are politically ignorant, and illiterate. They honestly believe that instant gratification is possible, simply because they showed up one time and voted! Politics is a year round endeavor; you have to be involved in the political process 24/7- to see the laws that are being drawn up, to see how redistricting and gerrymandering are affecting yours and your community's progress. Niggas just expect a Democrat president to play yt Jesus and give them whatever they ask for - reparations, eliminate student debt etc - failing to realize that these candidates need money for visibility - and black ppl RARELY donate to any politician, but they expect these politicians to do everything at a moments notice, then try to burn down the whole political process because their selfish needs weren't given high priority. Swear, some of these mfers act like toddlers when it comes to politics; if they don't get what they want, they throw tantrums and tell other black ppl not to vote because the eviction moratorium wasn't extended, or they're still stuck with student loan debt. Like, let's just throw away the economical debt, high inflation, high unemployment, spikes in gun control, and anti abortion laws because - BLACK PEOPLE'S NEEDS ARENT AT THE FOREFRONT.

These selfish mfers need to learn to see the forest past the trees - not everything is about YOU - and if you're donating to these campaigns, your ass will be the last one serviced, period. Showing up in big numbers isn't enough, you have to create the sense of urgency by donating and going to political rallies

*if you're not donating

Empty, vapid statement. Doesn't promise anything - merely proposes "focus on identifying league-wide opportunities" so not exactly a definitive recruitment drive.
The next part is just more vague corporate spiel, no real concrete aims or objectives just PR for both Ice Cube & the NFL.
