Phaedra Parks Experienced PTSD Following Real Housewives Departure

Five years ago Phaedra Parks was let go from The Real Housewives of Atlanta after spreading a defamatory lie about Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker [click here if you missed that].

In her new book Phaedra talks about the mental health struggle she faced following her departure from the show...

Phaedra Parks experienced a bout of depression after her exit from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” — and now she wants to help others going through similar struggles.
The reality star exclusively tells Page Six that she plans to detail her mental health journey — and share the affirmations she employed throughout her recovery — in a new book that is part memoir and part meditative guide.
“When I left ‘Housewives,’ it was a very dark time,” she reflects. “And I went through … depression and a lot of emotions because ‘Housewives’ can give you PTSD. I think anyone that’s been on it for over four to five years will experience some PTSD because it can be very traumatic.”
The single mom of two — who shares sons Ayden, 12, and Dyan, 9, with ex-husband Apollo Nida — tells Page Six that she is grateful to have bounced back from the drama with self-reflection and the support of her loved ones.
“So I wanted to write a book for women — men can read it, too — that really gave a part of my testimony of just being an overcomer,” she says.

Did she buy that nose from the Michael Jackson estate?

and some how withered her distraught ass back to the abuser at the first chance she got for a corny 3 min cameo. Oh OK girl. Nothing says healing like a luxury therapy squeezed in spot.

PTSD, don't utter that bullshit when there are people who are facing real mental health issues for actual trauma. You mental health breakdown was from scamming and worrying about getting caught!

You are now making guest appearances on Real Housewives of Dubai. Cut the bullshit. If Real Housewives hurt you so bad, why are you back on the same show in another country? Keep clout chasing.

PTSD yeah right. None of them are really legit housewives. These franchises need to end anyway. Half are not even married.

Why didn't you get PTSD when you found out your husband was a scammer? Oh, yeah, my PTSD forgot you were a scammer too.

That lie was stupid.

I can totally see it because the producers of reality shows are evil and very manipulative. Someone the other day described working on one of the housewives shows as being on the hunger games. Everyone is doing whatever evil deeds they can to stay on the show. It's funny how Carlos King was the mastermind of the whole Kandi is drugging people in a dungeon storyline, but he went on to carve out a new niche for himself and do big things, while Phaedra was left holding the bag. Trust no one.

Phaedra is an attorney. She allowed Bravo to exploit her. No feelings reserved.

I get paid over 190$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I've been doing..
:)
AND GOOD LUCK.:)

She had no problem being messy though. As long as the money is coming and Bravo doesn’t fire them none of them have any issues. Trust. When Marlo gets fired she’ll be playing the same role.
