She should've been saving from the jump. She was his girlfriend not his wife so she should've been putting money on the side just in case he broke up with her.

It's all about perspective. She uounh probably studied DMX's fiance's life who has NOTHING financially to show from that union. Especially with his 100 other kids. Jaz probably couldn't care less about his fidelity or respect. But understands the financial and LEGAL advantages (life insurance, next of kin status, etc.) that wives (not baby mamas) are entitled to. Yeah, black men don't have a long life expectancy - between gun violence, drugs, gang/street life, and life style diseases (high blood pressure, diabetes etc) black men need to invest in a policy as early, and as young as possible. I'd say early 20s, when the rate is low and the payout is high. Cause a lot of black men aren't living past 45, which about the length of time that these policies expire.

She should have been married but since they weren't, she should have had her paperwork in order to financially protect her kids. Where is all that jewelry, those vehicles and property they were flaunting on social media? Sell all of that crap! Then, go back to school, learn a career, raise your kids to be good people and go on with your life.

Sigh. Never heard of this guy before he was unalived (that seems to be the new saying). Her video is troubling on so many fronts. Who is talking with her and giving her sound advise? First, God wants you to work. If a man shall not work he shall not eat. Sounds harsh, but that's what said. She is young and seemingly healthy. She can go to WORK. Somebody is hiring. Trim the hair. Trim the nails. Go to work. If you got money for hair and nails, you can put some of that back for gas money.
What kind of family does she have that she's taking care of everybody? All of her grown family should see the above reference. If her parents are disabled, then I can see if you have to help with them, but if they are abled bodied then they need to go to work and live within their means.
Nothing wrong with a side hustle. Selling hoodies won't do it. Go to work at a nine to five and do some over time. Yes, she has a child. Find some good care. All those folk you're helping surely somebody can help with the child. Go to the Social Security office and get your child signed up for benefits.
When you work for your wants, people don't mind helping with your needs. Begging because you want that "life" is not it. "He took care of everything." Wrong idea. You should have been trying to have something for yourself. It's sad that she had to witness him being killed. That is traumatizing. Get the help that you need to deal with that, find work, establish the best environment for child/ren. Life is hard, but you will have more good days than bad. Just try.
This is why I don't give a penny to these rappers. All that flashy jewelry, clothes, sneakers, cars, designer bags and what matters. handeling your finances for an untimely death nothing not one dime. They never think maybe I should take some of that jewelry money and put some aside for life insurance, prepaid burial plan or some high earnings account for your kid. People better stop living in the now just to show off and save their damn money instead.

My bad. Should have went to the end. Still vexed. She's having some difficulties. All God and then went to the f words. I think she wants the things of God, but she has to grow and learn. Putting too much of her business out there. Not on his accounts? Who was on them? The Estate is being worked out. Well I'm sure she has good counsel and they will make sure that her child's interests are protected. Unfortunately, most of us don't have a lot left over (if you're regular people) after bills are paid, funeral arrangements are paid, after all necessary life and death issues are resolved. Likewise, those who appear to be wealthy don't have a lot either. They have the trappings of wealth and not the currency to back it up. Their labels often come out the best upon their deaths.

Someone is lying because although "she" may not be getting widow benefits because she wasn't a wife, the child certainly qualifies for survivors benefits based off of his dad's Social Security benefit earnings "if" he ever paid taxes. As a girlfriend you have no rights, but as a mom you can represent your child's slice of his dad's estate. Shacking isn't good for the woman or the kids because I'm sure dudes family immediately took over.
