Teddy Riley Defends Supporting Donald Trump

This week super producer Teddy Riley raised eyebrows for showing support to Donald Trump after he was indicted on espionage and conspiracy charges for stealing classified documents from the White House after losing the 2020 presidential election [click here if you missed that].

Teddy defends his stance...

From The Shade Room

The musician says that he stands with Trump because he released his older brother Lou Hobbs, who was doing double life in prison. Teddy goes on to say that Trump taught him “how to be a free man of this country."

Teddy believes that Trump “can do something amazing for us, because he did it for Africa while he was in office.” He explains that everyone has their own beliefs, and this is solely what he believes.

Judas!

Trump didn't do anything any other politician would do who was selling pardons. Trump is the same man who had the national guards teargas and trample over non-violent people protesting the death of George Floyd. He does not care about Teddy or his jailbird friend who clearly paid dearly for a pardon.

What did the brother do to get double-life in prison? What happened to his victims and their families? What did they have to say about Lou’s release from prison?

Tell us that, Teddy.

Lol smh now it all makes sense why so many black men are sprouting Republican views: they want to be able to avoid the criminal justice system, and accountability, like the republican crooks do smdh. Black women, seriously, we are going to have to up our numbers this upcoming election. Black men have decided to team up with racists and Republicans to have our rights restricted and banned; we have made leaps and bounds, as far as progress goes, and now these dusty nuccas are trying to undo everything that has happened within the last 50 years - short of outlawing interracial dating - cause we all know the black man's kryptonite is Hispanic/Asian/yt p*ssy - they'll undo everything except their access and proximity to yt ppl and p*ssy...smdh we gotta look out for each other and vote like our lives and ovaries depend on it.

7:19 I agree with everything you said with the exception of voting correctly states under democratic control are allowing these men to get out of jail with no BOND because they can’t afford to pay a bond after they commit a crime and it’s not just small things some states are allowing ppl to walk with no bond on assault charges kidnapping and other things. They are currently giving these black males hardly any jail time ! In one state they have took away the judge ability to sentence based on prior convictions. One thing I do not is republicans are pissed about that and they say these are the reasons crime has gotten so bad. Teddy paid trump most likely to set his brother free same as how Kodak black got out idc what they say. But the republicans as a whole ain’t going for that. What I can say is we gone be in trouble if these black men are allowed to continue to commit crimes with little to no punishment.

@7:56 am

I wonder if it's just a few isolated cases (little to no bond on criminal cases), because, yt ppl will exaggerate and overemphasize minor occurrences in order to set legal precedents that benefit their base (yt/straight/christian/nationalist). I do know that *some* states were allowing no bond on non-violent cases (drugs), which, I'm not that concerned about - but, if they are allowing no bond on violent/criminal cases, then, I'd need to see how many occurrences have actually occurred before I pass judgement. Republicans are notorious liars, criminals and racists; I would take everything they say (or complain about) with a grain of salt. Mississippi Republicans tried to gerrymander a map showing that blacks only represent one district, despite black ppl making up 27% of the state. These Republicans don't even want black ppl represented in the state - and if they do, they try to minimize our numbers so that their base has a greater voting advantage. I don't trust them at all. We can't vote on singular issues, we have to vote on the overall impact of their policies; anti abortion and contraceptive laws will have a negative impact on our communities, which are already impoverished with too much reliance on social programs; can you imagine how out of control those numbers will be if black women don't have access to contraceptives and abortions? Look at these communities now, and tell me you want more of the same. Teddy doesn't even acknowledge or pay child support for some of his own dayum kids, yet, talking about he support Trumpf because of his criminal bestie's pardon. Give me a fcking break! Just wait until Roe v Wade is overturned on a federal level; these dusty nuccas are going to be begging liberals and Democrats to pass abortion laws and to keep their raggedy @$$3$ out of jail because Republican policies involve expanding the prison complex industry, while eliminating social programs that would deter incarceration. Under Republicans, you can expect more prison complexes, fewer social programs, and no access to abortion and contraceptives - what do y'all think these neighborhoods are going to look like in 50 years? We have to fall in line and vote Democrat. There is no other option. Black men don't know shyt, and I wouldn't trust them to lead me anywhere, periodt!

Unless that brother got double life and took the fall for Teddy, I have no idea why Teddy needed to have a violent felon let loose on the world. I don't care who my brother is, double life, you're gonna have to do your time by yourself.
